Llegó el invierno

Árbol sin hojas.

Se nota que ya llegó el invierno. Los árboles han perdido sus hojas y hace mucho frío fuera, bueno, por lo menos para unos valencianos que no conocen las bajas temperaturas.

Nuestro indicador de que llegó el invierno es nuestro árbol palo del jardín. Sergio lo llamó así porque el palo que lo sujeta es más gordo que el tronco del arbolito, como se puede ver en la foto siguiente.

Winter finally came. Trees lost their leaves and it is very cold outside, at least for these people from Valencia that are not used to low temperature. Our winter indicator is our garden stick tree. Sergio calls it that way because the stick used to hold the tree is bigger than the tree trunk.

Además, recientemente descubrimos, que nuestro árbol palo es un manzano!! Sí, y nos dió dos manzanitas este año. Aquí va una foto para observar el tamaño de las manzanas. Una de las dos que dió el arbolito aún está en el árbol. Ya no le quedan hojas, solo una manzanita colgando de una rama (que uno puede ver en la foto completa del árbol).

Recently, we discovered that our stick tree is an apple tree!! Yes, it gave us two apples this year. Here is a picture showing the size of the apples. One is still on the tree. No more leaves, but still a little apple on it.
